This is terrible book that is poorly written and full of repetition. I don’t know how this got on your recommendation list. I am an avid reader of spiritual books and this book certainly doesn’t measure up technically or in content.
I am suspicious that there was some kind of corruption involved that such a low quality book got on a recommendation list. And I feel cheated since I purchased the book based upon this recommendation.
5 Stars A Great Book
This book is a great treasure. The aspect I like most is that there are many practical and easy-to-do healing as well as rejuvernating techniques that we can apply everytime everywhere. Simple as it seems; however, the results are truly amazing:
About two weeks ago, the students in my dormitory had a party at night. They made noise that made it difficult to sleep. I then started applying on technique given in the book by inviting the souls of these students and singing the song Love, Peace, and Harmony. After chanting silently few minutes, the students became much more quiet. I am very grateful to have a sound sleep that night.
The Soul Order wisdom is also very powerful. If I had a bit not so comfortable feeling I just ask the Soul Order to help me. Amazingly, I feel much better in a matter of minutes.
In summary, I would highly encourage you to purchase this book for yourselve and anyone that you love. You can make yourself and others by such a decision.

The power of soul is the power to heal and transform all our lives. When we open ourselves to the divine, we can receive great gifts. In return, we are giving the ability to provide service to others.
Power of the Soul contains a variety of attunements or downloads as the author calls them. These tools can be used for self healing and transformation. They can also be used for the greater good.
As the book says, healing is a process. It takes time and there is a progression in the way healing works. It all starts at the soul level.

I have been listening to the audio book. I ordered it based on all the wonderful reviews. I have starting to wonder if there is something wrong with me. Everytime I listen to this book, I get an overwhelming sense of saddness and depression. I just don’t get it, everyone said how wonderful you will feel and then just the opposite is true with me. And it’s not that I don’t have an open mind because I definetly do. I was really looking forward to this book, but I’m just not sure I should continue reading it because it’s making me so depressed!

The Power of Soul is one of the most powerful books, I have ever read. The practices are easy to do, but have powerful results. I feel the earth is in transition, and all humanity is in transition. This book is the book to assist humanity into Love, Peace,and Harmony. I would recommend anyone of any age to buy a book and not only read it but begin the practices. I have both the book and the cd’s. I find quiet moments to read, then also times when I am multi tasking, or driving, that the cd’s are fantastic. It would also make an excellent gift for a love one or friend. Every home should have a copy —- and use it.

Although this would be a wonderful book for anyone who wants to heal who can already see energy and auras..There are still plenty of us who can’t, and the author makes no adjustments for us visually stunted folk who can’t see colors, but can feel general states. Nor does she really give us any guidence to “see” energy better. A lot of wonderful looking knowledge that I could not use. I gave the book to a friend who can see colors.

I purchased this book after taking a Healing Touch class in Colorado. Many of the concepts in this book tie in with Healing Touch and I benefitted from reading the ideas in this book.

This is a keeper for years. Beautiful pictures, drawings and graphics. One of the first and best! Classic!!!
4 Stars A Seminal Work on Energy Healing
This is one of the best respected books in the field of energy healing. An oversized volume, it is absolutely packed with information. In fact, that may be the only drawback for those who are new to energy healing, as the amount of technical information is almost ovewhelming. But Brennan has filled the book with so much more than the usual basic information on chakras, the aura, etc. that even those who do not wish to delve so deeply into this art will find extremely useful information.

5 Stars Among the Best Books on Energy Healing
None of the standard objections to books on energy healing — poorly written or organized, author lacks training or experience, too vague, not enough detail — apply here. Barbara Brennan is a scientist by training, a skilled writer and explainer, and writes about the topic with an authority and wealth of detail born of many years of experience.
Brennan writes movingly but without sentimentality about her personal spiritual journey and skillfully blends anecdote with in-depth clinical detail. Her book is filled with helpful diagrams, including an intriguing look at the HEF, or human energy field, as seen by gifted medical intuitives. She includes, too, a number of illustrations of the energy distribution throughout the body for a variety of physical and emotional ills. The book can be useful for self-healing as well as for general understanding of the subject.
As a student of energy healing, I found “Hands of Light” to be among the most useful introductions to the subject, as well as a handy reference tool, especially regarding the interplay of physical and emotional factors in health and illness.

Drunvalo Melchizedek is a man who’s love shines through his words. His actions are for the betterment of mankind, bringing about hopefulness for a better world. Serpent of Light is the energy of our world and preflective of our actions. Our actions can bring about a better world - BUT we must be the change we wish to see. We will evolve more in the 6 days surrounding December 12, 2012 than in all history. Sure is something to look forward to, but we must begin now! Sending heart love and prayers out into the world and knowing we can be more than we are. GREAT READ!

A timely book well written and entertaining. This adventure into the spirit realm could seem unbelievable to a sceptic but on a spiritual level the story Drunvalo tells resonates on a higher level.

This is one of the most beautiful and inspiring books Ive read in a long time! I look for authors who write from the heart, and I must say Drunvalo is coming from the place of heart! If you are looking for answers and need help connecting the dots of our origins, you will find it in Serpent of Light…and you will notice changes within your self…It seems to happen on a subconscious level because he reminds you that you have all this information already inside you! I also recommend reading his flower of life books! You are in for a Big Surprise!
